The objective of our Biomechanical Assessments is to determine why and how your particular problem has occurred, looking closely for abnormalities and compensations.
Whether your problem or pain is coming from the feet, knee or back by identifying a biomechanical dysfunction our Podiatrists are able to provide you with a diagnosis and treatment plan. This may involve one or all of the following:
- Exercises to stretch or strengthen the muscles
- Orthotic insoles to wear inside your shoes to treat walking and running gait dysfunction and abnormaloties (these are made on the premises)
- Foot wear advice
- Referral to other professional healthcare practitioners if further specialist advice and intervention is required.
Our assessments are performed by means of gait analysis, using sophisticated computerised pressure scanning and manual assessment.
Our Podiatrists are then able provide you with a diagnosis and treatment plan in order to enable your recovery and further prevention of the condition.
